申请悉尼大学的学生在报名托福考试时，需在托福考试报名页面选择 "TOEFL iBT Australia"（托福 iBT 澳大利亚考试），这也符合澳大利亚内政部（DHA）的签证要求。

教学硕士（Master of Teaching）英语语言要求调整
自 2027 年入学起，悉尼大学教育学硕士课程（所有方向）的英语能力评估将进行以下调整，以确保学生达到新南威尔士州教育标准局（NESA）的英语语言能力要求：
- 不再接受"全英文授课证明"（MOI）：在非英语国家完成学业的申请人，不能再使用"教学语言（MOI）证明信"作为满足英语语言要求的证据。
- 必须在英语国家完成学位：申请人只有在课程开始前 5 年内，在英语国家完成了整个高等教育学历（至少相当于一年全日制学习），才会被视为符合英语要求。
部分硕士课程进入等候名单（Waitlist）轮次录取
以下硕士专业因申请量大，已进入轮次录取阶段。请学生注意及时接受录取，逾期未接受可能导致录取失效：

本科特别录取流程（UG SAP）说明
- IB/A-Level 学生：正在修读 IB 或 GCE A-Level 课程的学生，不能使用 IB/A-Level 预估分作为高中毕业证明并搭配 SAT 或 ACT 成绩进行申请。
- SAP 资格与 AP 成绩：特别录取流程仅适用于使用 SAT 或 ACT 成绩申请的学生。符合条件的 AP 成绩可以用来增加 SAT/ACT 的调整分，但仅凭 AP 成绩和高中平时成绩不符合特别录取流程资格。
